All these different threads are probably getting pretty annoying, but its the only real way for me to figure out for sure what works.

Sorry guys! Dont hate, appreciate.

Anyway, like I said in the other thread, June 25 probably wouldnt work because theres a bigger chance of them being back out on the road. So I moved it up to June 11. Thats only a couple weeks after the tour ends, so theres a good chance they will still be home and will be able to attend. June 11 is good for me...that when I was wanting to head down there anyway.

Again, June 11 is a Saturday, and will be held (most likely) in Tyler.

Ok, again, answer the thread ONLY if you are planning on attending.

Also, if you could answer the poll and post your answer, so I can see who is going. If you cant, let me know why.

Ok...thats all for now!

Thanks guys, i'm very excited about this. Weee....I want to play stupid games like a three legged race, and water balloon tosses.

And we can have cupcakes.

And play duck duck goose.

Kimberly

I know I'm going for sure. A couple of my friends and I are already making plans to attend on whichever date.

I plan to be there... I'm in the area then, so I can assist in any way that may be needed...

June 25th definitely didn't work out for me but hopefully the 11th will. I'm planning and working my best to keep this weekend open.

I'll be living in San Antonio by then, but I should be able to make it. Hey, and it's 2 days right before my birthday Razz

I'm 99.9% certain I won't be there now. That's two days before the start of the ginormous veterans event in Branson that the ad agency where I work is promoting. Sad

Take lots of pictures for me, guys! Maybe I'll have Andrew bring some merch with him for giveaways. Smile

Has a venue been decided upon yet? If not I really would recommend Bergfield Park. It's pretty big and it's just plain pretty. There's a nice amphitheater there and lots of room. And it's in one of the nicest parts of Tyler...near all that Azalea Trails sturf and brick roads. It's also very easy to find since it's right off Broadway which is pretty much the main street in Tyler.

Anyways...yay! I'm so excited. I heart Tyler.

I've been slowly investigating the parks in Tyler (a difficult task living in Austin), and I was wondering if anyone could provide any info on W.E. Winters Park. It is on S. Peach Ave. I also looked at Bergfield Park, but it costs $50 to rent the amphitheatre. I'd wager the pavilion at Winters would be a fraction of that, if anything at all, and it is still fairly central. I will call Tyler Parks and Rec tomorrow to find out more info. If anyone else can provide anymore useful info (i.e. is there a B-B-Q pit, how big it is, anything at all), please feel free.

JD

P.S. Thanks, Hannah, for that link. It may be invaluable.

Works for me! Then again, ANY date works for me. Very Happy

And yeah, Bergfeld park is pretty cool. I've been to a concert there. The stage is really high up off of the ground, so you can't stand by the stage, you pretty much just sit on the benches. Or in the grass.
