 Post subject: Does Eisley have an old song named 'Cobalt'? (circa 2002)Posted: Fri Mar 11, 2005 3:15 am 
I have a Moss Eisley bootleg from I think early 2002 (all I know it is from before EP2 was recorded). I can't remember where I got it, or where it came from, but I must have traded someone for it in mid-2002. I was just digging through my old bootlegs and found it. The tracklisting is as follows: 1. Sleepy Head 2. Head Against the Sky 3. Blackened Crown 4. Telescope Eyes 5. Cobalt 6. Becoming You 7. Over the Mountains (at the time did not have a name) When I pulled it out, I recognized 5 songs immediately, but it took me reading the lyrics at OGG to recognize 'Sleepy Head.' However, I went through all of the rest of the songs on that site and can find no mention of 'Cobalt' or the lyrics I have been able to decipher. It took me awhile to actually pick out them saying "This song is old, and it is called 'Cobalt.'" Anyone recognize any of these lyrics?: "...fear of what you think of me..." "...what you thought of me..." "...lost your identity..." "...what happened to originality..." Weird....I remember all of those lyrics, but I think it is from a song that they called Cobalt for a while, then named it something else. I should ask Christie...she will remember. I'll get back to you guys on it. I don't think we even have a copy of that! |
