If there's enough promotion on Room Noises, then yes.

Part of me doesn't want to see Eisley become uber-huge though, if only because of what the industry has done to most family acts in the past. The Cowsills (who were the inspiration behind The Partridge Family) are a perfect example of what I'm talking about.

I'm the only person who voted no.

What defines "big" though? I know who Eisley are and I live in Chicago. Penguin lives "somewhere in the UK" and he's heard of them. Does that make them big? I don't think they'll ever be as popular as such terrible bands as Linkin Park or Creed, and I consider those bands to be "big".

There are bands like The Decemberists or The Shins, who I would consider big names in the indie world, but niether are as big as Bright Eyes. Mind you, Bright Eyes is considered to be the most well known band in the indie world, yet they are relatively unknown outside of it.

I guess to me, being "big" means making a debut on TRL or something of that nature, and I honestly can't see the same little girls that voted "Feelin' On Your Booty" into the #1 spot for 7 straight weeks, voting for Eisley.

I think the difference between Eisley and The Shins,The Decemberist, Iron and Wine, and Bright Eyes is that they arn't on major lables. And the WB will not invest in a band unless they think they can get some money out of it. I don't know for sure, but I think the WB is waiting for the Emo/pop-punk movement to loses some steam before they really put a lot of money into 'em.
