and even if it was.. sweet! a world renowned band using something close to an eisley lyric? sounds grood to me. i thrink...

eeee, am listening to that song right now (the Eisley one. the proper one)!!! Very Happy Very Happy
(at school, incidently, i've had to sing "when i was a young boy" to save confusing looks from friends. apart from the fact i murder every song i sing cus i really cannot sing)

had it not been because I had just skimmed through the Coldplay tour journals and read that the song which Chris Martin so famously sang during soundchecks was exactly "Tree Tops" I would also probably just have seen it as a major coincidence... Now I am not so sure... Anyway I would hardly call it a bad thing for Eisley Smile

he probably wrote it in tribute to eisley. from what i remember chris martin thinks 'tree tops' is one of the greatest songs ever.
