The short version of yesterday: Around 2 PM, I had an interview with Stacy. Things were a bit awkward, (she said it was only her third phone interview, so she was still new to it,) so we just had a really relaxed conversation which eased things up, but someone was listening in (we think?), which is fine, but I think it made for a bit of uncomfort on both sides. We had a lovely conversation and she was incredibly sweet. I got to the venue and picked up my photopass and tickets, waited in line, and headed inside. They finally came on around 8 and played "Marvelous Things," "My Lovely," "Plenty of Paper," "I Wasn't Prepared," "Golly Sandra," "Telescope Eyes," and "Memories," in that order. Please leave the tags on the photos. Chauntelle was quite pleased to see that I was singing along while taking photos and grinned at me, (even though it's unprofessional to sing along if you've got a photopass, because it ultimately means you're "working",) and then talked to me at the back about it, and how the show went and stuff. They were all incredibly sweet. Stacy and I talked for a few seconds, and she was glad that I was able to come. After asking them to sign my CD, we got a picture. It was an amazing night. BTW - if the other guy that was taking photos posts here, either PM me or IM me, 'cause I'm sure you got great shots, too. |

What venue will they be playing in and where? Or are those details not yet released or something? i don't know where they'll be playing. i hope there's more than one show in new england because i'll go to any of them. i might even go to a new york or new jersey one since it'll be a summer tour. my guess for boston would have been the paradise rock club but boyd said that might be too big. the paradise lounge is smaller, but it's really small. if the paradise club is too big, then avalon and the axis sure are. i forget how big the middle east is, it's small, but i'm not sure if it's smaller than the paradise club. maybe it'll be there. maybe the fleet center? so, for now, i don't know, and boyd didn't know either. it's still a couple months off. all i know is i'm really looking forward to this one what do you think of the call in providence? it would be an amazing venue. small, intimate. they played there with snow patrol and wow, it was good. i was sitting on the stage at one point. xoxo conor _________________ A POEM ABOUT LOVE AND HATE IN THE INFORMATION AGE by jonathon newby 10010111000101101001 10010010101010101001101010 1010010110LOVE101001001 100101011010010010101001 11010010100101010101010 0101100101HATE0101001010 01001010010101001010. |
