so i had a wicked crazy dream last night, it starts off sort of boring with me moving out of my dorm and stealing wi-fi from a neighbor, bkah bkah bkah, anyway, it turns out my hometown is having its annual showcase/crab feast dealy and Eisley has dropped in for some free food. Out on an empty lot that is right next to the water, specifically one of our boat yards, there are long wooden tables and tarp canopies set up. I see Boyd, Kim, and Stacy under one, and as i draw closer Sherri and Chauntelle. We exchange pleasantries, and immediately boyd says: "We gotta do a game of twister later, you me and the girls *points to sherri and stacy who nod affirmatively* Jon was saying he wants to get in on it too" i say cool, but in the back of my mind i think "most awkward game of twister ever in the history of the world..."  wouldn't it be though? at a certain age twister takes on a new meaning than it used to...and dads are n ot involved...and 8 foot skinny giants should not pair up with 5 and a half foot peeps
so we continue to talk about things that i can't remember, and stacy says "then you'd have a happy life" and boyd starts singing the part of Franz Ferdinand's Dark of the Matinee "oh you'd have a happy life, if you did the things you like" and i join in on the chorus and eventually the whole lot of us are singing Franz Ferdinand so weird...we quit that and i ask someone when the crabs are comin and he says they just left to get em, and this dude walks up with a joint in his hand turns to stacy and says "want a real burrito?" and she refuses and the rest of us follow in kind. He drops it on the table and walks away and stacy is staring at it like a little girl stares at a roach, utter disgust, so i flick it off the table, and it accidentally lands on some random kid sitting next to stacy...and again like a bug he swats at it to get it off.
i turn to boyd and ask how everything is, and he says "ehhh....it's ok...i mean it's great...but i don't think the crowd is really responsive" meanwhile an orange ship is docking, the area behind boyd is all water, somehow we moved to the edge, the boat is packed with people, it looks like an orange version of the boats that stormed normandy, and its swerving performing the alley dock i had just performed earlier in my bus that day. and then i wake up...but the people on the boat looked lifeless...wonder if they were zombies? real shame the crabs never came, i wonder what happens when you give Eisley small wooden hammers and tell em to go to town? _________________ welcome to the no pants club boone |

umm...doesn't this belong in the official dream thread? I kept waiting for a punchline like "grandpaturtle has got crabs!" or something...  _________________ hi, my name is dan, a librariman i am anyone can play guitar... |
