Hey, I don't know if anyone else likes Sahara Hotnights here, but I totally love them. They are a Swedish all-girl rock band.The Sounds sound a bit like them, but may be a little better. i saw them live once...they were opening for someone, can't remember who...but it was ok...seemed very much like girl rockers that just picked up their instruments... _________________ welcome to the no pants club boone |

out of all the crappy girl bands they aren't the crappiest. That's about the best compliment I could come up with. They are kinda cute sometimes too I guess. At least they're not the Donnas. |

Their new cd definitely isn't thier best, but their other 2 cds are great! I saw them on Conan one night. They weren't the best, but they weren't the worst either. I think they're good, not the best ever, but I still like them. And if I liked the Donnas I would hang myself. There are crappy girl bands, but there are good ones, too. i like them.... i have Jennie Bomb. it's a fairly good album if you just want to rock out and not think about the music too much. it's catchy and fun but all the songs are fairly similar. have you heard the very old Halo Friendlies? like the acid wash EP? i don't know if you can even get that anymore... _________________ Saellys wrote: Thank God for Arielle  all your kind, they're coming clean they shut their eyes their mess, their scene |

i have their most recent record, what's the name. whatever. i think they're a million miles better than the donnas, the vocals are more expressive and more appealing. but yeah, same old frisky chick punk rock. |

If you guys are judging the Donnas by what you hear currently on the radio, go back and check out their older stuff. Get Skintight and Turn 21 are both pretty good. |
