 Post subject: New and Improved Eisley Boardie BBQ thread! With new poll!Posted: Wed Apr 13, 2005 6:15 pm 
Well my peeps, we are now one giant step closer to what is sure to be the media event of the summer (well, maybe not), but the BBQ is definitely going forward. Thanks to a most excellent boardie, lostjeremy, who most likely will not even be able to attend  , we now have a reservation at Bergfeld Park for June 11th deep in the heart of our very own Eisley Mecca, Tyler, Texas.
So here is the part where I ask you all to please exercise your right to vote and complete the simple new poll above so we can further refine our headcount. Please be as sure as you can be about your attendance. Hope to see you there! When you are ready to post about how excited you are about the BBQ please let us know about any special considerations (such as vegetarianism) that you'd like us to take into account. There are really only two of us (four if you count my other personalities), so we will only be able to accomplish whatever is very reasonable. Eventually, we will ask for a small donation to help pay for the foodstuffs, but that can wait. Please bring sunblock and OFF! Trust me, that is good advice! Thanks! EDIT: I am posting a map of the area of Tyler that Bergfeld Park is located in. I got it off of Mapquest so if any Tyler locals know that the info is wrong please let me know. The address is 1510 S. College Ave. Tyler, Texas. Here is the map.

So the boardies know that Eisley will not be in town, right? I guess they will be in town on May 22nd, until they leave out again for the headlining tour. Too bad that it couldn't have been while they were home, but I understand how hard it is to plan these things. Tyler is lovely, so it should be a fun get together. |

If I had all the luck in the world, there is a chance that I might be able to go. It turns out that my uncle has family in Tyler. And he and my aunt visit them like every year. If you all do come, it would be funny for all of you to come by the Eisley house and mow our yard...uh...I mean...take a picture in front of the Eisley house. Yeah...that's what I meant
