I was just having some fun the other day and created this remix of "I wasn't prepared for this" that I thought fans of Eisley might like it. It’s different and just for fun. Give it a listen and give us some feedback. http://www.kingspin.com/eisley ps... it is not the whole song. I would need the source tracks to do that. I would love to get them and do it right. Again this was for fun and I did get permission from the Band/Boyd to post it. OH...not designed for Netscape or Mac's (but it will work good enough) sorry.... works best on IE6.. I guess. I am working on a more compatible site design... best viewed at 1024x768 or better full screen.... |

hahahaha!!! I'd like to see Boyd busting some moves to that at the next show. Maybe at Brewtones?! FUN!! Thanks for the feedback everyone... Eisley is amazing anyway and certainly don't need me but this is a fun new light on their intelligent modern rock... I heard that the band likes a more organic sound so I am working on one that is less "boom". Like I said it is difficult to do without the source tracks but we will see. |

i want to see what you could do with the source tracks, i wonder where one could get those, i wonder what giant WB complex that is guarded by ninjas and cybernetically enhanced doberman's i would have to infiltrate to get them for you. i want night vision goggles and one of those cool rapelling harnesses that hold all your spy gear like knives and smoke grenades and little electronic things that can disarm small countries... |

Now you are talking!!! Count me in on the stealth gadgets and lets go. Source tracks would be awesome to remix any of their songs. I have source tracks for New Order, Depeche Mode, Madonna and others. Just have to agree to an NDA (non disclosure) like scenerio usually. If they never plan on releasing such a thing it is unlikely to happen though... that is why it is just for fun. I would remix it for release for free and without credit even...just becuase I think so much of their music from what seems to be such a great bunch of people (parents included). |

so do people keep those source tape things around? i mean is there really some place i could infiltrate?! that sounds like so much fun... but its probably illegal... and i don't like breaking the law... i just like inflitrating places and pretending to be a spy... "if we don't hide here, they're gonna find us, and if we don't hide out they're gonna catch us where we sleep." yeah... he was so talking about me! what we need, kingspin, is a plan! something that involves cutting the power and disabling their computer network so that the lazer guns go offline and don't kill us... and we need an awesome unmarked van that we can pile in out of like a SWAT team of something... or better yet we need a helicopter... PM me sometime so that we can plan our awesome secret mission to recover the eisley source tapes... we can make up neat codewords and names so that we can talk to each other and say things like, "Delta 7 to Alpha 9, the brisket is in the fridge, prepare to thaw!" |

Thats funny!!! A lot of places archive that stuff and it is usually mastered in ProTools or some software. If it was all analog tape it can still be attached to a computer and recorded out to a file. I have done that before. One studio I recorded at went out of business and even though I paid them to archive my master tapes they erased them anyway. OOOH was I mad! Won't make that mistake again. Yeah and we had better stay away from the illeagal stuff. I got one (bogus) speeding ticket in my 16 years of driving and that was enough for me. Love the Coldplay reference!!! So true! |
