i shall have you all know.. today. i auditioned with a piano version of "just like we do" and i played/sang it in a tenor-ey male way. people really loved it, and were giving me hugs and such, saying how gorgeous the song was. i personally think i preformed it 10 x better in the privacy of my own home, and doing it in front of about 70 people (most all of which want you to fail miserably so they get your spot) was daunting to say the least. i dont know if i made it yet or not.. i'll find out tomorrow at the cytone review & banquet. just goes to show how great songwriting transcends artists. p.s.: our school mascot is the cyclone (because we live in kansas).. and cytones is our very elite show choir. we open in branson and stuff(yeah meaningless to you, but hey its something).. and we've got like a history of great shows going back almost 2 decades. i am not real big on show choirs, but i did it for the music credit, as i plan on being a music major. _________________

Man, I was in show choir. It was called Touch of Gold (because our school colors were blue and gold) and it was pretty awesome. I auditioned with "Tears in Heaven", and definitly sang it Tenor. I have a pretty low alto voice. I hope you made it! _________________ Gosh, writings music Ryan5 wrote: I still love Eisley a gamahucheing million time better than farting |

That sounds very cool. You should record your cover and submit it to Orange Gold and Green. I'd love to hear it. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

It was bad enough when Fantasia murdered "Summertime." _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

It was bad enough when Fantasia murdered "Summertime." Don't you be talkin' smack 'bout her rendition of "Summertime" It depends on who it was that sang the Eisley song. It would be..."interesting" to see Constantine sing one. _________________ If the end of the world has proper noodles I'll probably be okay with it. |
