If you're going to pay 2983479234 dollars for the fake ID and only use it that once... then no.

If you're going to pay cheap money for the fake ID, or make it yourself... then yes.

If the fake ID is crappy looking and makes things risky... then no.

If the fake ID looks real... then yes.

If you look 14... then probably not a good idea.

If you look 21... then yes.

Other methods are:

* talking to the manager. You could come to some sort of agreement where-by, for example, your mum or dad or whoever goes with you and stays with you the whole time. This may sound pooish, but at least you aint breaking the law (and you introducs someone else to Eisley!! [and lovedrug, and pilotdrift...]). If you decide to do this and he or she agrees, make sure they write it down, and copies it (proof that they agreed, so you have no worry of them going back on their word).

*threaten to sue the place for not allowing you in, (get a lawer to help you, so you can make sure your sueing them on sueable grounds).

*get a huge crowd of you at one go. Don't let anyone else in on the plan, so the people on the doors wil get scared and let you in.

*Take your drumsticks, a la Detroit Rock City. Then, you could threaten the people on the doors by saying "yeh, i'll poke your eyes out: lemme in!" (EG).

OK, so the last three are maybe a bit wild.

As for fake IDs...

If you can get it done well but cheaply, and you look 21 anyway (they should let you in anyway if you look 21...), then go for it. just, don't drink (alcohol, I mean). And also, on the night, make sure you look honest and be ready to reel of your date of birth (the fake one!!). just some tips i've picked up...

As for the morality thing. If you're happy about it, then go for it. Just, don't drink. Using a fake ID to see a band, i think, that you love is not a crime. Using the fake ID to drink under age is wrong (if you aint old enough to drink). But yeh, just as long as your morals show it's right.

if the club is 21 and up, suck it up. I know that sucks, but there's probably a very good reason why they are not letting you in. It has to do with liquor/performance liscences. If the ATF or the alcoholic beverege commission (or even just the police) were to show up and find you in there, the club would be hit with a massive fine in the tens of thousands of dollars, even if you didn't touch any alcohol--which, of course, might come out of Eisley's pocket. Their insurance rates would skyrocket. You could even be partially responsible for a club closing down. You most certainly wouldn't be welcome back. And think about this: a club in california got hit with a fine for having a minor in the club with a fake ID. They got fined 50 thousand dollars (or more, I can't remember the $$ at the moment.) The club then turned around and sued the girl for twice that amount, because of the costs that she incurred...and the club won, making her pay somewhere in the hundreds of thousands of dollar range. You'd have nobody's sympathy, either.

Think twice before you do that.

You could be screwing a lot of people over, including the bands you wanted to see.

Do you really think it's worth it?

So, essentially, what everyone seems to be saying is that Fake IDs are fine; just don't be stupid and get caught...

errr...

forgot to add this:

Eisley will probably be touring again, anyway. There will be other chances to see them. And by that time, they'll be bigger, so bigger venues etc will be needed, you'll be older, and it'll all be groovy...

but yes, if you have to, don't get caught. (and if the Filth come, leave quickly!)

What he said.

Basically, I don't care if you don't get caught, but come on I think it's a really dumb idea not to mention sinning... or breaking the law, same difference. Sides, there will be other concerts they will be doing in the summer for your age, and not to mention if your parents should find out. They might not. But still, it doesn't make it right, so NO DON'T DO IT

BE SMART, SUCK IT UP, AND GO TO A CONCERT YOU'RE OLD ENOUGH TO GO TO!

Sides as they save "save te best for last" sometimes in these cases.

hope that helps and you make the best choice possible

I couldn't endorse such a measure. Eisley will hopefully be popular enough to convince booking that they can pull non-21+ clubs before the year is even over. Patience pays off, and you will hopefully get your chance.

Should you decided not to do it, you can at least feel rest assured that Eisley will tour again. Smile They're a relatively young band, and they're not some international act that will only tour here once every few years.
I'm not one to preach, since I used a fake ID in my teen years to get into shows. So no, I don't think it's "morally" wrong. The liquor laws in the States are too strict, in my opinion. But be aware that you may have the ID taken away, or worse, the club could take legal action (though I've never met anyone who had this happen).

getting caught with a fake id isn't fun. depending on what kind of id you fake it can be pretty major.. as in big fines if not worse.

in some places if you bring a guardian with you can get in at a 21+ show, check it out and see if that is hte case. thats your best bet.

If your fake ID looks REAL, and it's a venue that just kind of looks at it and doesn't really check into it deeply (most don't, i don't think)... I honestly don't think you'll get caught, especially if you're not drinking and you look old enough.

What are the odds that you're at a concert, with 400 people, and a cop comes in and decides to randomly check your ID of all those people? If a cop comes into the venue and checks anyones IDs, it's going to be the people drinking, and the people that don't look 21.

394579827394852345 people use fake IDs every night and don't get caught. Sure, it's breaking the law... but rules are meant to be broken, you only live once. Of course, live smart and like I said... if you look younger than 21, don't do it. Because I would assume that if you look 17, or something, they'll check your ID more carefully than if you look 21.

But like the person above said, check with the venue, maybe they'll let you go with a parent. Try the legal ways before you go into spending money for the illegal way.

the very fact that you had to ask the question 'does this seem right?' should tell you that no, it's not.....

I find it interesting how people spend time to provide long explanations of why their bad choices or bad behaviour, like creating and using a fake ID, are OK.........
