i'm not sure how big of a deal this is, or if it is a deal at all... but i work at a fine retailer called american eagle (www.ae.com) and they are now promoting Eisley in all of their stores across the country. every store (that i have seen) has a big plasma screen television in it playing music videos as well as ae graphics, commercials, etc. nonstop. these come from dvd's the corporate office mails out to all of the stores. so i come into work today for the first time in a couple of weeks and i come out of the back and the familiar sound of 'telescope eyes' is blaring from our dozen(s) or speakers and sure enough there is the video on the big tv behind the counter!

i just thought it was cool. we play a lot of stupid stuff so it made me happy. i made sure all my coworkers knew about them. Wink

Clothing places seem to dig Eisley. Thanks for the info. That's pretty cool.

my sis also works at ae and she came home one day and told me. she was like, "dude, they play eisley at my store. i don't know what song it is, but i thought you should know." and that's it. i told her it's probably telescope eyes since it's their single. and sure enough it was. she came home the next day and said it was.

when she told me, i thought her co-worker was playing the eisley samplers i gave him. haha. he's a big eisley fan.

They were on a compilation Urban Outfitters sold for the tsunami relief. There are some older threads on the subject.

back when i worked at AE before they had the plasma screens they played "sea king" on the music loop. I thought that was the greatest thing ever.

how do you like working at AE by the way? I hated it.
