 Post subject: FUSE TV "VJ Search" guy wearing Eisley shirtPosted: Fri Jul 08, 2005 8:39 am 
Since I've just begun posting to the board I figured I'd share this info with everyone. If you saw the Dallas episode of the "VJ Search" on FUSE TV then you saw me auditioning in my Eisley shirt and speaking in a Kermit the Frog voice. It was a little gimmicky, but it helped get me to the second round and I knew it might make tv (which it did, even though I was really nervous and looked like an idiot). I wore the shirt for a few reasons. The first being that I'm a big Eisley fan and was wearing colors true to the Dallas music scene. The second reason is because they were on the FUSE website as the "next big thing" and I was trying to help the cause (those comments didn't make it on the air, though). What I hadn't counted on was me doing a Kermit voice and ending up wearing a GREEN shirt! I was a frog. [In my defense, I can do alot of other voices, but that was one of the first ones I'd thought of that day.] I told Kim that I'd try to get her a copy of it to share (I've got it taped, but can hopefully make a disc soon). If nothing else, I helped fan the flame of Eisley's popularity in Texas. Trust me, the editing on tv was more embarassing to watch than the actual audition, but hey, everyone eventually ends up on a reality show, right? _________________ This part was caught in a landslide... |
