I REALLY, REALLY wish the band would chime in here. I just think it would be nice to know which of their songs they have the strongest emotional connection to.

What really gets me is the ooh ahhs right after that line.

when the hell are they gonna do that? they're on the road, the internet access is few and far between and it's not like their first priority is to respond to the message board

Gee, granpa, no need to get snippy. They can do it whenever they choose, if they choose. It is not such a big deal.

I hope they get some time off in the near future, for their sake. I'm sure playing shows can be fun, but I'm also sure it is exhausting. Plus, getting paid for it takes away some of the intrinsic motivation of playing your music, I'd imagine.

the 'la la la la, la la la' part of the winter song brought me very close to tears one night in the car.

I've never cried to an Eisley song, but 'I Wasn't Prepared' gets to me, like a lot of people have said. I love how easily you can take it as a 'I'm lucky to have someone like you'-kind of song, and how it can quickly change into 'I wasn't prepared to lose you'-kind of song.

It reminds me so much of a few very special friends of mine, and it also reminds me of how I felt when I lost a loved one.

That probably made no sense, but hey...

well, i've never cried to a song, but i did get a bit choaked up when i heard head against the sky live. the first and second time. my sister cries when she hears lost at sea. come to think of it, hearing memories got me a bit choaked up as well. i first saw them at a back to basics show, and everyone was looking at me like i was an alien because i knew all the words. may 5th 05 will be a nite to remember for me........

No tears. I wasn't Prepared, Lost at Sea and Memories are very moving, though. And if you empathize with the people in Telescope Eyes, that can make you sad.
