Tonight we heard from a friend that he was approached by a guy that told him that EISLEY does drugs.
Our friend laughed so hard in his face, he almost threw up.
Then, he asked him where he had heard that rumor.
The guy told him that he was EISLEY'S drug dealer and told him what kind of drugs he sells to them.

First off, somebody tell me who this guy is Evil or Very Mad ......and then, tell me what motivates people to start trash lies like this?

Has anybody else heard stupid rumors?

Ha, somebody actually claimed to be Eisley's drug dealer?!? That's so hilarious and wrong.

My dad once said that he thought Eisley did drugs because they were a band and he believes all musicians do drugs. He is crazy that way. I just told him no way, they love God, they love their parents, they are good children.

ha. Wow. Crazy rumors ...

Hm. I haven't really heard anything crazy. Not that I can think of off the top of my head. I would have definitely corrected anything wrong I heard, though.

Anybody who start rumors like that is a very sad human being.

On another note, I do worry as the band becomes popular that it might attract folks who do drugs during the concert .

When I went to the NFG concert and some guy next to me started to smoke some drugs. It smelled bad and I had to move away. It would be nice if ticket promoters could put NO DRUGS on the ticket as much as they do stating NO CAMERAS. It would also be nice if there was a police dog searching for drugs and kicking the druggies out of the club.

I really haven't heard too many Eisley rumours. Perhaps just the 'who is dating who' bunk that people like to talk about.

I wish someone would come up to me and say "Yesterday I did some lines with Eisley" or something equally ridiculous because I could use a good laugh.

I think they've been there for a while now. Though it would be nice if people would keep the drugs elsewhere during Eisley shows.

I went to a John Mayer concert once and the folks in front of me were smoking weed with their giant bong, while I was gagging. But I couldn't move because we had assigned seats. But I just found it to be the strangest thing in the world. And they were passing it to everybody. Jeez, all of them were druggies! I don't understand what the security searches are for if they don't seize bongs?

Did anyone stop to check if the guy was a Tyler-local pharmacist? Wink

I don't think bongs are a security concern.

But drugs are illegal. So shouldn't they be alert to the fact that somebody has a bong and is going to use it to do illegal things?

Have you ever been in one of those specialty gift stores where they sell pipes and hookahs? They are allowed to sell those things because they are not only used for drugs of the illegal variety. It is possible to smoke tobacco with said pipes.

Also, was it really a bong, or was it a pipe? I have a hard time believing they took a whole liquid-filled bong anywhere. They are the mobile sort of drug apparatus.
