Votes like this do not actually test how popular a band is, but, instead, how rabid their fans are. I think Eisley fans are among the most rabid.

isn't voting more than once pretty much cheating?

Tegan and Sara are now making their run. They gained .1 while I was voting non-stop for Eisley. And the UGO site is slowing down.
This is needs serious attention here folks.
Well, not serious like a health crisis, or world peace.

This reminds me of those old carnival games with the slot horses and the water guns.

Who else is doing this? Roll Call!!

Welcome to the Eisley forum. Wink This is how we got a landslide victory in Who's Next? and every other online voting contest they've won. Frankly, if the poll makers were all that into making sure the voting was fair, they would make it so you couldn't vote more than once. It's not a popularity contest so much as a test of how rabid the fans are, like jdstories said.

Right. An UGO benefits, because of the number of recorded hits to their site. It seems to be a great site for indie artists and fans and deserving of sponsorship and support.
All for the greater good.

hm, i guess i don't like those sorts of polls then. i'd rather actually know who people thought had the best performance than see who has fans that spend far too much time online.

i've always felt the same way. i voted, like, twice on this. yes, i'd like eisley to win, but not for the simple reason that people are nuts, even if the site seems to be made that way.

And even if they did make it so we can't vote more than once, well by golly us Eisleyoids are so internet savvy that we'll just delete our cookies. duh!

Who's Next gave us a FREE TOUR. And they gave Eisley a pimped out BUS.
