 Post subject: I Wasn't Prepared + Katrina aid video. Check it!Posted: Tue Oct 04, 2005 3:34 am 
http://www.townonline.com/natick/localRegional/view.bg?articleid=33715 6 I (Luke/Pzy) have totally hijacked this post to include the video itself, sorry sweeeeeeeet. Anyway, this video was born of an idea by my Mom (she has a lot of great ideas) and Natick Pegasus (a well-run cable access station in my hometown) helped with the video editing and sources and they're airing it every hour. It's also been sent to other local stations in the area in case they want to air it, and I'm sure they will. The idea is two-fold: First a foremost to help out the victims of hurricanes in the south through the donation of gift cards, and second to show how great Eisley is for allowing the use of their song for such a great purpose - people have already called the station asking who the band is because they love the song, meanwhile donating to the relief effort as well. Cool. It's a great video, definitely elicits emotion and empathy for the victims. My Mom and Pegasus (that sounds so weird) did a great job. Share it with friends! The original link for the video doesn't work anymore. Luke has a master copy, maybe with Boyd's permission he can 'put' it somewhere? This was a really, really nice thing the band did for the Katrina Relief/Natick project. Twinkies were not even part of the deal. |
