Green is my favorite color, so is pink, but mostly green. I love the Eisley greenness, and I love this thread for everyone's deep thoughts on the matter. _________________ Kyle ~ like a boy.. only I'm a girl (g i r l) www.myspace.com/smiliekylie (p r o o f) |

I keep expanding the base brand of colors (started years and years ago) but... you're right – eisley is green; What can we say? It's just... the girl members are like forest princess's; they scamper about in these flowy, tattered, dresses. I can see it clearly in my imagination – Like pretty, earthen, woodswomen, they flit about...writing songs, playing their strange instruments, catching bugs and picking the fronds from the ferns that line the path to their secret Trolley. Weston and Garron are the Paul Bunyon's of the forest who protect them. TrolleyWood is out there... somewhere; in the woods; in the dark forest. I think that's where they steal away from civilization and spin their peculiar magic. It's totally not real, of course. I think jeans, a fire, books, a campfire with marshmellows/smores is more like it... but there'd be a guitar. And garage band... and ipod's. Still... something about this identity of green is very real. It's a part of their brand persona. Interestingly, I must believe something about it. Me and Eddie (sounds better than Eddie and I - not because of importance)... just finished the eisley bio. Here's the opener: Quote: Deep within the collective hearts and minds of Eisley, there seems
an impenetrable, enigmatic place where long, lurid shadows stretch out far beyond dark forests that draw from life's essential streams. And in that hidden hovel, emotive melodies and verse emerge there to satisfy creatures pining for music that inspires imagination without borders. Eisley's 2005 full-length debut, 'Room Noises,' originates from such a place." If you wanna read the full thing, I'll post it... eventually. This was my first paying "writing" gig. I brought in Eddie to make me look better. He delivered. We had a good time with it. (Eddie = poorwriter - from this forum. a.k. -Eddie Harbour) when i first saw the web site i wasn't thinking spasificly of green about Eisley stuff but more to the point earth tones.like what i'm lookning at right now is GREEN,light heather faded gold, heathey light grey, and a dirty yellow color.sorta like walking threw a forest. _________________ http://zenblade9.deviantart.com/ |
