First off, I will be posting pictures I took at the show later. I can't find the darn usb hookup thinga majiggy.

Anyways, I along with 7 other friends/family (that I invited) just got home from the Eisley/Switchfoot show in Sacramento! It was a great night. Great music with great friends, can't beat that right? Everything was sweet. (Even that lady that was dancing to Switchfoot was classic. Hey, she wasn't embarrassed so all power to her)

By the way, if you were there, I was the tall spikey hair guy with the sideways blue visor on.

I got a chance to meet up with Boyd again, and FINALLY got a great picture taken with him. (The last picture I took with him was my WORST picture I'VE ever been in. Boyd looked fine. I looked like a geek) We talked for a while about things like the little things I found interesting about Head Against the Sky and so forth, and talked about the band and everything. If you guys don't know already, Boyd is a class act.

The only thing was it seemed Eisley was rushed through there set due to time (I guess?) and they didn't play a long set. In fact, it was only a bit longer than they opening set (which was good by the way) so that was a bummer, but Eisley was still on everything they played of course. By the way guys, the new song I believe it's called "Many Funerals" (Correct if im wrong) yeah that song owns. In fact, it's got some heavier riffs that make the song a bit eerie and personally, it was a different sound from Eisley to me, and I really liked it. Might be one of their heavier songs.

During Switchfoot's set, Sherri and Chauntelle came out and me, my brother Anthony, my friend Darcell, and my friend Katie went to go meet them. They ended up signing our shirts and posters which rocked, and it was really cool too because it seemed they were pretty busy with things and really didn't even HAVE to come out and sign, but Sherri and Chauntelle did, which says a lot about the band.

After the show, we waited to see if we can meet some of the band members (Eisley and Switchfoot) and managed to meet a few Switchfoot members. By the way, Switchfoot is a pretty good live act. Check them out when they come to the show. Eisley looked a bit rushed out as well, but still said thanks for coming, (Chauntelle still talked to a few people, she's a HELLA sweet person, as well as the other band members of course) but Boyd still went out of his way to shake my hand again and tell me thanks for coming. GREAT guy. Great band.

All in all, great night. I'm beat, my McChicken sammich is hard from McDonalds, and i'm thirsty. I'll post my MANY pictures later.

Thanks Eisley!

BTW, the songs they played were Head Against the Sky, Marvelous Things, Golly Sandra, Mr. Pine, Telescope Eyes, Many Funerals, I wasn't Prepared. Pretty sure that was it.

yeah...Boyd said they actually had to cut 3 songs from their set last night in Sacramento.

Something about trying to get the first band off, and no one to help at that venue. Anyway, that's why their set was so short.

Eisley felt rushed, and a little rattled, but tried to push through it all.

Yikes. I hope that doesn't happen tonight.

Sound so fun! I hope I get to meet someone from the band on my date. Straight after they play, I guess I'll rush over to the merch area. Wink

Let them know, just seeing them play live period is a great thing. Even with the pressures, they sounded great.

Anyways, I have some pictures guys! I'll post more later as soon as I get that special usb hookup I need for the other camera.

I was in a weird area, so I could only do a few views. But I will be posting more.

I just wanted to note something I was proud of. Me and my 7 friends were the LAST ones at the Empire and got to say bye to the band. Felt kinda cool.

Anyways, see ya in a bit.

I don't know why, but boyd looks like a ventriloquist dummy to me in this picture.
