hi ptah. yes. silver bugs is one of those songs that - if it's produced right, it could be smashing - lots of punches and and dynamics.

OK. I did post a song finally. And it works. Go back to my original post. oh heck, I'll just put it here too for you lazy people like me. This is "They All Surrounded Me" - from their worst show of the tour - Toronto, Canada. The song won't be on the ep, but will surely be on the full length. Remember, it's live.... (LIVE)

wow...that live "they all surrounded me" isn't too bad!
it sounds good...its just a little weak.....i've heard it "rock" a lot more than that. but is pretty good overall!

no...please no trolley wood on this EP....too soon! It's like a fine wine...needs to mature a bit before partaking of it.

you should use sunfeet instead!

i did say it was their worst show...but am just wanting to give new fans a
listen to the basic song...which, now probably won't be on the ep.

new news:

Memories
Sea King
Mr Pine
Marvelous Things

-Not in any order yet. This is happening on the fly....told you it would
shift. And don't worry Kyle - Trolley Wood is yet to be heard. Anyway, I
would never post the secret Rob Cavallo sessions. The version you heard
won't ever see human ears. Gotta go. boyd

(insert gleeful expletive here)! I so love They All Surrounded Me. I had only heard the acoustic one from that radio show (repeatedly ...) before. Thanks for posting that, Boyd.

my vote is............nah. I don't count. Well, I mean I can count... 1,2,3.... see... but well.... it's just that its 1:30 in the morning and I was supposed to be asleep hours ago my thoughts would be too off base... I think they should do an all remix EP instead. See... told you I was off base. .... ok honestly I am just posting to waste space. Sorry. please zap me Kris or Gregorian.

Boyd, a question:

will the uk ep have the same track listing or different, and if different, how different?

thanks

i've always thought Mr Pine could be a hit single.
no kidding.
the middle eight might be a little too "out there" for radio, but the chorus is catchy enough i think.
and remember, a hit single is not a bad thing, there are a few instances out there where artistic songs have been hits

so what is SUn Feet's future going to be? i thought that was some of Eisley's best rhythmic interactions......good Jon bass

i've never been big on Sea King, but it will be interesting to hear how the "underwater" keyboard effect will be recorded.........that sound reminds me of Octopus' Garden

oh, how about Sprinkle record Lullaby and you can get a whole bunch of toys that make noise and record them and incorporate them into the song

I dig Sea King. (Dig?) I've had it bouncing around in my head all day, well, all week ... anyway. I like it.
