I've never heard the iron and wine version. Shoot. Now I have to find it. I love that song so much.

Edit:
I heard a clip of Iron and Wine's. It goes so slow. Kinda boring. Although it's probably not fair judging from just a clip.

I like them both. I guess it really depends on what I'm in the mood for. But for the sake of this poll I chose Iron & Wine. I like your avatar by the way antlers.

Postal Service. Don't really dig the sloooooowwwwww version at all.
The John Tejada remix of it is pretty good, too.

I like them both a lot depending on my mood.
Iron and Wine is great for a mellow day.

BUT I can't resist the techno-beat of the Postal Service one. I voted Postal Service.

Don't kill me, but I have a question. Which one is the original version? I've always wondered that.

The Postal Service version is the original one, by Ben Gibbard (Death Cab For Cutie) and Jimmy Tamborello (Dntel).
I think I read somewhere that the Iron & Wine version was part of a soundtrack to some movie that actually came out before the Postal Service release.
If I'm wrong about that, someone will yell, I'm sure.

mr. beam's cover of such great heights was used in the movie garden state. the postal service's album came out before that movies release.

the Postal Service, it's their song, and though i love the Iron & Wine version, there's something about all the beeps and clicks that i love.

i like both as well... in different ways. now, the original version (postal service) was the one i heard first, so it has a place in my heart. Laughing so that's the one i voted for, but iron & wine did it well, i think. depends on my mood, i guess, but if i had to choose, it'd be postal service.
