So I was wondering... which version do you prefer?

I personally like much more the Laughing City version; I find it more powerful and deeper than RN version.
IMO, the RN production on that track makes it lose part of the power the song originally had.

I agree. I heard the Laughing City version and loved it a long while before hearing the slower version but after hearing it instantly preferred it.

i agree, too, but if there's one more version of telescope eyes, the world might blow up.

I really like the version that spells out the bullying:

.."with your big dress and your dirty hair your pen's waiting for you so get far, far away from me. I don't want your disease."

You freak.

That version makes it clear why the singer in the chorus is being made to cry. In the Laughing City version, it's hard to see that the narrative voice changes between verse and chorus.

Room Noises < Laughing City EP < EP 1

I definitely prefer the Laughing City EP version of "Telescope Eyes" over the Room Noises version.

The "Marvelous Things video" is what made me fall in love with Eisley. This give me an idea.
