I just want to say a quick "thank you" to all who have voted. As I have watched, and voted on this thing, I realized that the contest is partly for "Best Live Act of 2005", and partly about which band has the ability to mobilize their fans to sacrificially sit there and vote. Yes, this is just as much "Best Band's Internet Fanbase 2005" contest as it is about UGO's website stated contest. 
Don't be fooled into thinking that it is anything less. Admiral79 made this point early on, in another post, and he is right. What is the reality though? Right here at the holiday season, people are so busy, who really has time to be an avid voter? Whatever the outcome is, I just want to let all of you Eisley fans know, how much we here at the Eisley home, appreciate the dedication and willingness you all have put forth, to try and see if Eisley can win this thing up against so many other great bands. We haven't been able to find out when the contest ends, so, at this point, I have just been voting when I can. It would be awesome to win, but every band wants that. Just wanted to send our love to those of you that have taken the time to vote.

This whole thing is blowing our brains! We are so honored, and freaked out that Eisley is even in the running among these bands. SERIOUSLY! We cannot say "thank you" enough times, even if Eisley doesn't win. BIG HUGS FROM THE DUPREE HOUSE!!!!! |

I think the UGO site is broken. Or else they've been counting votes for the last 8 hours. I haven't been able to get it to vote and I haven't seen the percentages change at all. Did this thing end and nobody at UGO bothered to tell anyone? |
