First off, I want to wish everyone who celebrates, a Merry Christmas, or Happy Hanukkah or whatever it is you may celebrate! I've never posted or commented, though I've stalked this message board often for a couple of months, so I'm a wee bit scared, I'll admit it! My question for all of you is what does Eisley make you FEEL? For me, Eisley makes me feel all sorts of things, but mostly, that it's okay to be me. Which, might sound odd and probably can't be put into a single word of an emotion, but as they're very different in their musical style, and still have many fans, it's great to see them be unapologetic for who they are, as people, as a band, as a family, and to have lyrics and music that explore all sorts of emotions. They are very true to themselves, which is why I say that Eisley makes me feel as if being myself, is okay, more than okay, and they're (though this is cheesy to say) an inspiration, which might very well be the emotion they make me feel after all, inspired. After reading Boyd's post after the Plano Show, it made me think if more bands, musicians, artists, entertainers, etc were as true and as sincere as Eisley, I truly feel that music as a whole would be so different, and the radio would be something worthy of listening to, and I'd feel inspired with every song I heard. So, every negative comment that Eisley might get are simply made by people who don't understand what MUSIC is all about. This is much longer then I anticipated! _________________ Kyle ~ like a boy.. only I'm a girl (g i r l) www.myspace.com/smiliekylie (p r o o f) |

Welcome to the forum! Nice first post. Eisley make me feel like I'm floating. Seriously, when I'm standing there at a show or just listening to Room Noises I can pretend I'm levitating. And the music makes me feel safe and warm and loved. Eisley songs have gotten me through a lot. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

Yeah, very good. I think, Eisley makes me smile, when I don't have a right feeling at the point. The other thing is - it's very strange - if I'm sad, I think Eisley songs are like very very sad and i could cry when I hear it. The third is, that I'm sad, because I am in Germany and hope every day, Eisley will come to us soon, but nya, they will =D _________________ To believe is to think of itself. |

I think it's great that band can stir up all these different emotions/responses. Floating/high are amusing! Eisley is an anti drug! _________________ Kyle ~ like a boy.. only I'm a girl (g i r l) www.myspace.com/smiliekylie (p r o o f) |
