actuly at nighttime frrom around 11-3 the cops are looking for people that go like 20 in 50 mph zone so they can get them for DUI theyll let you get away with like 10-15 over

I'm sorry, but this is a very easy question. The answer is the day time! You can see the cops sitting along the side of the road during the day giving you plenty of time to slam on the breaks. Plus, with more drivers on the road you can hide yourself better from the cops and more than likely one of those drivers is going faster than you are anyway.

Not always for me. At nighttime (in the country), there are few cars out. AND, you will know when one is coming because of the headlights. So, this means you can speed over hills, unlike daytime.

i mostly in the day to college and stuff, but last night was a driving experience. i went to the emergency room, which oddly enough took 2 hours, to get a cut checked out on my finger from work. anyhoo, i was cruising at like 80ish at 2:30 in the morning on the highway cause no one was around, and same for the normal roads. driving fast is fun...

it's even. funny. like i thought. cuz i had a hard time choosing. it changes, but ever since i got pulled over for going "60" in a 30 (yeah right i was probably only going 60 for like a second.. i was late to work people! becuz i got a short lunch) i swore to never speed above 10+ anymore and i really haven't..so far. ha.

if you're talking like 12-1 am when i come home from work and there is no one on the street in the first place and im tryin to get home asap, then i might speed a little, but there still might be a cop somewhere. so i be careful.

it was an easy choice for me. daytime. when i speed, i am generally late for something, and very much aware of the fact that i am speeding. so, i hardcore look out for cops.

i don't consider going five over speeding, though.
i guess technically it is. butttt.. eh.
i go five over all the time. with exception to certain weather conditions.

I usually stick with five, too. If I've seen cops in the area a lot, I'll go the limit. When I used to drive home from my university at night on weekends, I'd go a solid 10 over sometimes. Rarely more than that. Now, in Dallas ... I'll go about 20 or 30 over. But that's because everyone seems to be going 40 and 50 over. Shocked

Thus, just another reason I hate city driving.

And yes, I slow down for weather. But not for mimes.

So, in summation, night and day don't really affect my speed. Confused

I try to drive the speed limit.....but I do tend to go faster during the day.....I can see everything.....

At night, I really do go the speed limit.......cruise control....

I do have to tell about this driving experience I had at night though......

I was coming back from Crockett, TX (about 50 miles away from Lufkin) from a Barrage (www.barrage.org) concert.....The highway I was driving was a simple two lane basic highway......the speed limit was 70 maybe 65 at night.....I was going about 67 on cruise control.....anyway.... the highway is has a lot of curves and a bunch of hills.....so you are constantly moving in a weird way.....well I'm going almost 70......with the Barrage CD I just purchased blasting.....

and there was something about all of these elements plus the lyrics to the song "Rasputin",

"RA RA RASPUTIN
Lover of the Russian queen
There was a cat that really was gone
RA RA RASPUTIN
Russia's greatest love machine
It was a shame how he carried on"

blasting on my car stereo that made the whole trip feel surreal......

sorry had to tell someone...

Josh

I fly wherever I go. I didnt buy a Camaro, an Olds Cutlass (back when they was muscle cars) or turn my truck into something that can be raced for nothing.

for some reason, nighttime makes me want to go fast.
cept i'm way too lazy to switch into fourth nowadays, so i generally just go 30-35 around town.

depends. normally daytime i'd go faster. however, if i'm on a well lit highway really late at night w/ no one around i'm inclined to go faster.
