Easy explanation. Time travel. Other Jamie used it in one of his blogs on myspace.

Went to their website and see one of the band members with a CUBS shirt on. ROCK ON!!! I'm sure when they say 35 dates with Eisley in March they mean March and April as it seems that is when the new Eisley tour is.

Brighten is pretty cool, I just saw them here in San Luis Obispo with Blesk. I bought their EP, it's quality.

I originally thought the band Simon Dawes was the singer's name a la Bruce Springsteen, Bob Seager, etc..

Now I see that is not the case. Maybe they are named after a high school gym teacher such as the case with Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Anybody know for sure who they're named after?

Actually, I do!

Last night, after the show, I saw the singer, and my friend asked him what his band's name means. He said they just wanted to have a name, and so they came up with that. His name is Taylor. He was a cool guy.
