So, here I return, once again, to www.eisley.com and the forums; slightly cause of boredom perhaps. I can still remember when I got here the first time. It was.. actually I forgot which date it was.. but Eisley had just released their something (I think it was connected to the Marvelous Things release) and somehow they had an ad that I saw in Windows Media Player. The ad actually had to appear many times before I even clicked it. I had never clicked an ad link like that before. In any case.. there on the website I got to download some of the early Eisley music such as "Head against the sky" (my favorite back then) and "Over the mountains". I was thrilled cause this music was unique, innovative and also good. After some slight consideration I decided to order their EPs over amazon.com and it took quite some time to get them from USA to Sweden. During that time I also got shocked cause mrs. eisley mom (who was still in hospital) decided to send me some Eisley merchandise for being the first swede to listen to Eisley. I don't remember exactly what I got but it included: - A pin that I had on my "bag 'o school" until it somehow fell off - The "Coffee Time" t-shirt that I still sleep in - Some other generic Eisley t-shirt I still use - Some stickers Ooh.. and two days later Stacy sent me a message too since apparently a swede on the board was very unusual. I replied but never got a reply back *sob* (I think it may have been my "stacy is amazing" attitude back then :p) Now... two years later I check back. Many things have happened.. the Eisley album was released and I bought that as soon as possible. I still listen to it from time to time. But somehow.. I feel like I want more.. and more! There were a lot of songs that were not released ("Sun Feet", "Lady of the Wood") that I really wanted... and everytime I check back to the website I get kind of disappointed cause there's nothing new for me to get. There's tours and such but it's kind of far and I'm not really that kind of person. So please... release more songs! ooh.. that's my little story I guess. time for me to disappear again and hopefully come back when there's I have gotten my daily dose of Eisley! _________________ Still titled as the first swedish fan |

Sweeeet! Haha, people should talk about you as if you're a legend-- but not above a whisper because then the story would seem to not be as special. That's really tight, though; if Eisley ever does a show in Sweden you can be like the most brag-worthy fan in the venue, or country for that matter. Lol. _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me. Nothing touches a work of art so little as words of criticism." -- Rainer Maria Rilke |

Howdy! Yeah, they have a ton of new songs already, so it won't be too long before this new album hits high gear. And have you seen the wealth of songs that are on www.orangegoldandgreen.com ? Anyway, hang around. I have the feeling this place will be crawling with big news soon. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Noice, Eisley's gon' global. So, seriously, can we start up the FREE SUN FEET (and Silver Bugs) campaign? I mean, barring the unprecedented inclusion of them (and others) in the new LP, what else are you (directed vaguely at someone affiliated with Eisley) going to do with the Room Noises era recorded but unreleased stuff? Start the revolution, yo. |
