This is a call to arms, people! Or, rather more appropriately, a call to hats. As the faithful in and around Austin know, tix for Eisley at La Zona Rosa have been on sale for a couple of days. What I'd like to do is to get all the boardies who are going to wear sombreros in honor of the day Cinco De Mayo. As all true Texans know, Cinco De Mayo is a day that commemorates the Mexican Army's defeat of the French at the Battle of Pueblo. It can be thought of as a second war of independance for Mexico. Anywho, what I'd like to do is to use it as a flimsy pretext to wear a sombrero at an Eisley concert.

Now who's with me! Viva Eisley!

JD

i'll be there with a sombrero, and maybe some extra ones for all the kids that want to join me! i'll be the one that looks like he doesn't belong at an eisley show, i.e.big black boots, green mohawk, probably all black attire....but with a sombrero. so don't be afraid of the freak with the green mohawk, say hi and pick up a sombrero, i don't bite unless asked to. and anyone who feels like pOKING some SMot before the show, call me! 512-326-1643 (honestly, i'm just flippin bored, looking for some eisley fans here in austin). i love you all!

First of all, I think sombreros would double nicely as a birthday hat. Secondly, yes Jaime, come to Austin for your birthday so we can get you trashed in the capitol city.
