Stacy has tons of layers in her hair, which makes it wavier than usual, but I expect she has some other special techniques as well. In early photos when her hair was all one length, it looked pretty straight, and just adding layers probably wouldn't do much to make it super-wavy. There are all kinds of special conditioners and styling stuff to accentuate waves and curls. You could take a pic of Stacy to a professional stylist and get his or her opinion on what you should do. Good luck! Post pictures when you're done! _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

my guess is that they don't have to do anything to it my hair is cut similar to Chauntelle's And if I wash it and let it air dry, it ends up like that. If you have thin hair: try using a volume amplifier, like "Superstar" by TIGI Blow Dry, without using a brush, the brush will make it straight. push hair forward while blow drying. Then use a smoothing serum, like "Silker" by KMS don't "pull" it through your hair. add it to the ends, and then scrunch hair. If you have thick hair (this is what I do): wash hair and use a deep conditioner, like "Smooth and Sleek" by Matrix. when hair is still pretty wet, (not dripping) apply the smoothing serum, all over hair. Use an amplifier just at the roots Let air dry When dry, use the smoothing serum at the ends to get rid of frizz. Why do I know this? Because I'm a hair freak. Oh, and if your hair is stick straight...try curling just at the roots, and leave the ends straight, it creates a "volume' and wave effect. |

That's pretty much what I do, except I crimp it, and scrunch it, as it were. My hair is really straight and often thin, so having layers and styling it that way really helps to make it look more good, for lack of a better way to say it. hair is fun _________________ j'ai pas envie d'être un robot, métro boulot dodo -Kelli |

you'd be amazed what you can do with a curling iron or a straightner. my sister and i are hair pros by this point. also, it depends on your hair type, but certain products can do a lot as well. right now i have a hair cut with a lot of layers, and also i have straight-er hair that is prone to be wavy and which holds curl well, so my hair can be crazy wavy just by scrunching it while blow drying and adding some wax to it. even down to the shampoo i use - because i switch around a lot - can make a difference in how my hair looks day to day. experiment! _________________ rachelgreeneyes |

I am lucky if I towel off. _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! MAKECOLDPLAYHISTORY |
