We discussed a poem in my literature class today that instantly reminded me of ODISFA. The whole idea of the soldiers and the coming morning and all... Futility Move him into the sun-- Gently its touch awoke him once, At home, whispering of fields unsown. Always it awoke him, even in France, Until this morning and this snow. If anything might rouse him now The kind old sun will know. Think how it wakes the seeds-- Woke, once, the clays of a cold star. Are limbs so dear-achieved, are sides Full-nerved,--still warm,--too hard to stir? Was it for this the clay grew tall? --O what made fatuous sunbeams toil To break earth's sleep at all? - Wilfred Owen _________________

Yeah, I see that. Also, I have questions I keep meanings to post: 1. who sings the verses? Sounds like Stacy, but I'm a bad judge. 2. do they ever do it live? There aren't any videos of it on OGG, like there are of most songs. It would be weird if they didn't though since Stacy said it was her favorite. _________________ ASTER (i'll think of a clever signature someday.) |

(to me) it's very obvious that stacy is singing most of the song. sherri most likely comes in during the chorus. |

Also I've always kind of operated under the assumption that she wrote it. But to play the devil's advocate, it could be kind of like Marvelous Things where Stacy sings the verse but Sherri sings(lead) in the chorus. Sometimes it kind of sounds like that. And Sherri apparently wrote that song...so who knows? Also she did sing it in one of those preproduction vids.... I thought it was strange Stacy said it was her fave, because they never play it. It's one of my faves, I hope they will someday. |

I don't THINK they've played Lost At Sea, except for that one UGO performance. I remember once someone was like, they play 10 of 12 songs off room noises, and one only a couple of times (Brightly Wound). So I think Lost at Sea and One Day I Slowly Floated Away are the leftovers. |

I've seen them play Lost At Sea 3 or 4 times live in Dallas...One Day I Slowly Floated Away I'm pretty sure they played at the CD Release Show. I'm sad I remember this. _________________ If the end of the world has proper noodles I'll probably be okay with it. |
