I don't know if I'll get an answer for this, but it's worth a shot... Does anyone know if "Sandra" is a real person or just someone Stacy made up? Just curious... |

Hmm... I don't know. I didn't think Stacy would write such a song about a girl unless it was about a family member or close friend. But maybe you're right... maybe the character is made up

But maybe you're right... maybe the character is made up well i believe the song is a father talking to his daughter, i think that is what stacy has said and the lyrics make sense with that -- so if that is the case then yes it is obviously made up. just like if you were to write a fictional book and have a character named sandra.. it doesn't mean you KNOW someone named sandra. song writing can go the same way. |

Even though the song is clearly about a parent/daughter relationship (to me), I wouldn't find it necessary to make a big deal if it was a love song to a girl.
