DistortedSound
Sea Post King

Hello everyone. My name is Joel and I need some help on Tree Tops. I was wondering if any of you know what distortion pedal is used on the chorus and what settings might have been used as well. I love that song's powerful distortion. I think the Ibanez t9 is used but if anyone can help me produce that distortion I will be very thankful. Right now I use my Marshall or Boss DS-1 distortion pedal but haven't been able to find a setting I like. Well thank you for reading and I hope someone may help me. It would be cool if Chauntelle her self revealed the secret..lol

Someone here said that she uses the same pedals as she does now... so OGG it and look at her pedals. Very Happy

They both use Fulltone Full-Drive 2s. It's based on a Tube Screamer circuit, and I've heard a lot about them being really great pedals. A lot of guitarists don't like Mike Fuller because he's really bragadocious and charges a lot for pedals for which he didn't didn't design the circuits, and they consider to be "clones" of other pedals.

Dana (loveisachemical) really likes the Full-Drive.
