Chauntelle was nice enough to paint me a commission! I told her the color of my office wall (seen in the background) and she matched it perfectly. I got it framed at a local place who did a fantastic job, and now I will cherish this piece forever. It really does look amazing, I've already gotten a ton of compliments on it. Chauntelle rules! The color balance is hard to get right in a picture, since the wall is "burnt orange" and the painting/frame are similarly colored, but you get the idea. It looks so, so amazing. _________________ |

That's incredibly cool. I want to see more Chauntelle paintings, please. For being self-taught, her technique is really impressive--crisp edges and beautifully blended colors. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

As if Chauntelle wasn't awesome enough. Also, bonus points for a large image of art. I can't stand tiny pictures of big pictures. ha ha. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

It's totally amazing! Really hauntingly beautiful - I agree with ync , it looks like a beautiful illustration from a wonderful children's book... I think Chauntelle is holding out on us... she's obviously an amazingly talented artist just like Sherri. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the Dupree girls actually DID write and illustrate a children's book! Sherri , Chauntelle, Stacy, and Christie could all write the story (what a wonderful fairy tale THAT would be!), and Chauntelle and Sherri could do all the illustrations. It could only turn out to be totally AMAZING!! _________________ Dan and daughter, Samantha - We Love Eisley! |

^Nah, she wasn't holding out, I remember her with a picture on twitter of something she was working on last year or before, on illustration paper with all these colors (either colored pencil or markers, I forget) and what she had was really well done. Ahhhh yes, it was an Owl! http://twitpic.com/9p1j5 _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. Ahhhh yes, it was an Owl! http://twitpic.com/9p1j5 Last time we were talking Dupree art and the subject of Chauntelle came up (a couple years ago), I remember I promised to take a picture of the bag she painted and I bought on ebay a few years ago that involved an owl. Of course I never posted it. So again, I will try to do that soon. It has been missplaced, but I think I know where it is. I just need to get it out and of course I really should have it on display. As for this new art, very amazing. I am very impressed. And for the newer people, I'll post this for about the 5th time. Weston painted these. So in other words, it appears they all have some talent in various arts: |

i recall i saw a picture of a drawing stacy did. it was of some strange alien like creature, it was interesting. and ive seen a lot of pics of chauntelles art, i feel like she does more realistic sort of stuff and usually uses more colors while sherri's stuff is more of that ink, fantasy like stuff and very black and white. the entire dupree family is artistic, i think sherri said something about artistry running through her family? _________________ I used to be Snow White but I drifted -Mae West |
