Rolling Eyes Oh man today I was listening to Eisley with my mom and she started crying during "My Lovely." And so there was my mom driving while blubbering during My Lovely and then I heard Brightly Wound and that got ME to cry. It was a very intresting moment. I have listened to all those songs over and over again but today it was just weird. Am I the only one who has had this happen to them or are there more emotional Eisley fans out there? Laughing

That's never happened to me yet.. it may one day.

And, that sounded very dangerous.. the whole driving while crying thing. Shocked

I don't really understand how people could cry during songs unless it had some strong emotional tie to an event in their life.

I've never cried listening to an Eisley song, but some parts in their songs have given me the chills and my eyes got all watery during a part in Silver Bugs... so I almost cried! Laughing

The first time I heard the Laughing City version of "I Wasn't Prepared," I teared up a bit.

the song that chauntelle recorded a while ago made me cry. maybe it was something about her voice. i'm not really sure.

i think that's it though. (i mean i guess that's technically not even an eisley song.) i've almost cried at concerts, but not usually from recordings.

yeah, same here.
i think it was because i had only heard "pretender" and over the years her voice has just gotten even better but, i've never heard it. when i finally did it was very emotional.
