... posting images in high quality, with no JPG artifacts and bad dithering. I can't tell you how many times I've visited Dead Air Space and been profoundly saddened by the grainy pictures therein. See? Artifacts and computer-generated blurring everywhere!
Boyd's pictures, not to mention Sherri and Stacy's, are of the highest quality. See? Clear as a summer day.
In that way, at least, Eisley have Radiohead beat. [/useless thread] _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

That's one of a handful of Radiohead songs I can identify from still images. I picked "Lucky" out of a set of my boyfriend's photos from Bonnaroo and he couldn't figure out how I knew. It's 'cause Ed was playing his headstock, duh! _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

There's a shot of it from another angle on Dead Air Space, and it's definitely got a smaller body than the usual hollow Gibson. I have no clue what it is. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

It appears to be a Gibson ES-125-T, a thinline version of the 125 that was made in the 50s and 60s. At the time, the 125 apparently used P-90s instead of "Charlie Christian" pickups. That's really cool. I bet they sound awesome. And yeah, I'm glad the Eisley photos are such high quality. I hope they don't give up on us in that regard. _________________ Scriptozoology, a screenwriting blog .. Facebook |

Weird. _________________ Scriptozoology, a screenwriting blog .. Facebook |
