I think we have had similar threads. Although, I usually let them listen to mr pine, tree tops or golly sandra, bascially the more upbeat faster ones! _________________ Hi, I am a jolly old British lad. Whom is a Photographer. For me it's Marvelous Things. Over the Mountains, Marvelous Things, old Telescope Eyes version or Head Against the Sky. I made the mistake of letting them listen to RN verison of Telescope Eyes and in response I got "they're too pop." |

depends on the person. Someone who's more pop oriented I'd say, brightly wound, someone who is more open minded to different types of music, memories. _________________ Kyle ~ like a boy.. only I'm a girl (g i r l) www.myspace.com/smiliekylie (p r o o f) |

Probably Memories or I Wasn't Prepared. It really depends on the person's music taste... if you know they like slow pop music, pick a slow song... if they like rock, pick a heavier song like Head Against the Sky. I'm going to sneak IWP into a mix for my dad because he's not into rock music. Although most of us on here probably heard Telescope Eyes first and liked it enough to want to listen to their other stuff... that's probably a safe song. _________________ I know how I was born and I know that I have no choice. That reminded me of the torture that the main guy in 1984 got... *shudders*. I don't really forcibly make people listen to Eisley. Though the other day I did have Room Noises blaring out on the loudspeakers at a Scripture Union camp when I was working on someone's presentation. _________________ She is handsome, she is pretty, she is the girl from Belfast City, she is courtin' one two three, please won't you tell me who is she? Well I tried turning all my friends on to Eisley so I'm an expert at this hahaha.I usually start them off with Telescope Eyes then I show them other songs from Room Noises and if they really appreciate Eisley then I show them some vintage Eisley. _________________ |

It depends on the person and their tastes probably... I think personally I'll do the album tracks or the ones like "Memories" or "Telescope Eyes" or the songs on their myspace (as apparently they think those aren't too bad for people to start exploring). I tried doing it the other way, trying out tracks that I find amazing but aren't necessarily on the album, but that didn't work out too well... |
