The "Your Desktop" and "Little Kids and Harry Potter" threads have inspired me to start a Halloween pictures thread. Wow, I must be really bored today. I don't feel like going out so I've been posting here way too much.

Anyway, feel free to post some pictures. Nothing controversial though (for those of you who may have disturbing Halloween images). I mean... I'm not for censorship, but I really respect the wishes of the people who run this place.

I don't have anything exciting. I spent the evening with my family because Halloween is also my sister's birthday. But if any of you have any cool costumes... that would be nice to see.

Anyway, a few of mine taken on Halloween 2003:

My niece's, nephews', and my pumpkins.

My Homer pumpkin.

A lizard who hung out all day on a rotting pumpkin on the front porch.

I have pics from my Halloween adventure but the moderator would surely take them down in a heartbeat.

I carved Homer, the crow, and about 40% of the skeleton (my niece did the other 60%). My nephew did the Michael Jordan logo on his pumpkin with the number 23 on it. You can't see it though because his candle burned out. Michael Jordan has nothing to do with Halloween (although he did used to play for the Wizards)... but he really wanted to carve it.

you want to know what's truly saddening? I've never carved a pumpkin before in my entire life. I was going to thin year, buuuuut... no one could get out of class in time to go get one. *sigh* Next year, for sure.

Last year was the first time I'd ever done it. I never did it as a kid. It's never too late to start.

I don't think pumpkin carving should be dictated by the time of year. I say, if it's pumpkin season, let's carve 'em!

I agree. I came across a web site that mentioned watermelon carving as well. Hmmm. That would be interesting... and much more delicious.

I wore a pumpkin on my head this year. I put a pic up later when I get the pic from my friends. I was the "Pumpkin King". I kind of just made a costume as I went, and it turned out pretty dang cool (well I think so anyway)..
