...Eisley and Mike Mogis are tight... since he produced most of the band's "Laughing City ep" in Sattlecreek-ville... err, Wherever, Nebraska - right before the Coldplay tour. Also, Mike and Connor came to a show in Texas and hung out back stage once (some award's thing where Eisley won best band of the year, best vocalist of the year, etc. and Mike won something and was a keynote speaker i think... in Dallas.) - were nice enough to lavish some praise on the band, etc. Then, some other time, we went to a Bright Eyes show at Tree's and yak'd back stage for a bit. |
