Heyy, for my degree we have to research recording studios.

Although finding information about production and record companies are easy, finding the ACTUAL location of the studio is incredibly hard: obviously not publicised because the band choose it, it's just a location etc etc.

Does anyone know the name of the studio where Eisley were recording this album? (Or any other album for that matter!)

Thank you!

Woodshed Studio I think.

They recorded it in Richard Gibbs' personal studio at his home in Malibu. I'm pretty sure it doesn't technically have a name.

I can't remember where they recorded Room Noises (three different studios, as I recall, one of which may have been Rosewood in Tyler), or the EPs, but someone will respond with details, I'm sure. Wink

A tiny bit at Rosewood in Tyler.
Here is the link to the website, but it's blank right now because Boyd is going to revamp it, I think.

Some recording was done in Malibu, some in Tyler @ Rosewood.

The album is currently being mixed in Tyler.
The mixes sound amazing.

That's all I can say.

no. it's a modified loop from LeAnn Rimes' "I Need You," which my dad mixed, I believe.

it is a lovely intro though. boyd is about to re-do our website.
i am pumped about that.

I think it appears blank because you're using a mac, Kim.
I don't think the plugin is compatible?

But i'm glad boyd is going to do it. It's not very good currently.
At all. =]

where exactly is Rosewood? i've known about it for years and drove up and down the street it's on, but never saw it. is it relatively close to the library?

question two - does Rosewood do mastering? i record stuff at home and i was wondering today if ya'll could master it and make it sound a bit more professional.

thanks.

it's on w. erwin street in tyler. ugly building from the outside, haha. the library is about seven minutes from there...i think. but yes, they do mastering, and i'm not sure what the rates are. i'll have to get back to you on that and go ask my dad.
