That's really cool. I mean, awesome. Well, both ... I think that song could become a winter staple. It's so good ...

Agreed. I just recently moved to L.A. from Chicago. I'm love'n this warm weather but everytime I listen to that song, I miss the Chicago snow. How ridiculous is that?

I heard that Christmas CD sucks except for "The Winter Song." Since I got the new EP, I guess I'll pass. I dunno. Is it still worth buying even if I have "The Winter Song"?

I heard Ben Folds was on it too. Is it his Santa song?

Ben Folds was on Maybe This Christmas. (Maybe This Christmas Too is a second CD). The song was Bizarre Christmas Incident.

From what I've heard, the CD is just okay. The Flaming Lips song is pretty cool, along with the Badly Drawn Boy song and the Sixpence song (and of course, DMB's Christmas Song).
I haven't given much of the rest a chance.

They're one of my musical guilt pleasures... I have a soft spot for their interesting (although predictable, at times) chord changes and catchy choruses, and I enjoy Leigh's voice too.
