Yeah, they use something for that lap steel sound unless they do it stripped down style (two acoustics and a keyboard/no keyboard). On some of those clips from recent shows, there seems to be a mandolin sound coming from no where during that quiet part on "Come Clean" but that's just judging from online video. So I guess they would find a way... |

One of the times I saw them do trolleywood they eventually get off horribly from the snap track. (granted this is from the Final Noise Tour). It was funny though. Weston was in the back sweating to death slamming his sticks together trying to keep the band in time. I would like to hear that song (MKD) live eventually though. |

Plenty of bands use some form of recordings during live shows. Its no big deal unless you get to the point where members are not really playing their instrument or are not really singing.
