So, I was really bored earlier. This made me decide to take an old song of mine and make it a bit more upbeat and happy and almost dance-y. Go listen and let me know what you think!!! lawlz, now I feel pressured. It's a really solid track actually. I can't remember the old version exactly, but I'm pretty sure it's better fast. All my songs are slow. Guitars are low in the mix, and those cymbal crashes make me laugh. I kinda wanted the guitars to be lower in the mix than normal. To show off my super-keyboard-riffage in that bridge part. And nothing quite as amazing as digital drums via Reason. But yeah, the old version was about 20 or 30 bpm's slower. This is actually a lot closer to the speed the song was when I wrote for my band at the time.
