(I was actually a bit surprised that there hadn't been a post about this already.) Well last night my girlfriend and I attended the show, and needless to say we had an amazing time. Of course we arrived early so we wouldn't miss any of Eisley's set. Eisley came on stage right at 7:00, and played seven songs. The set list was as follows: "Memories" (equally as great opening up a concert with that song), "Go Away," "I Could Be There For You," "Invasion," "Marvelous Things," "Combinations," and "Many Funerals". I really thought they did an outstanding job. This was my fifth time seeing them and each time gets better. We absolutely loved hearing the new material live. "Combinations" is such a beautiful song. It might have been my favorite of the night. After their set, Eisley went to a nearby merch table to sign and take pictures. As always, they were so personable and gave everyone a "personal visit" and didn't rush anyone through. It was pretty nice because both the people in front of us and behind us hadn't heard of Eisley but were very impressed and purchased albums and shirts. My girlfriend and I got two pictures with the band and got my copy of EP2 signed. I'll try and post some pictures later this evening. I can't wait for the acoustic show at HOB. I'm definitely going to be there. |

last night was AMAZING. a friend and i drove 4 hours just to see eisley play. i can't wait till they headline their own tour! |
