...But I never saw this before!

Looks like from the shots from the LA shoots. It was on their Facebook group (also new to me). Was it somewhere else? Maybe it is a part of the album inlay. Either way, I like this promo shot too. The black and white and angles have a nice effect (at least to someone with no technical photo knowledge).

Ohhh wow, good find!

Stacy's hair looks marginally darker than it is in the LA shots... I wonder if this was taken earlier. Confused

Hmmm maybe it was before! I just was going with the outfits they had on during that time (like Sherri...same as I think a cell phone photo she had taken and posted in her journal.)

Why are all these shots serious?!

I think that's one of Miranda's.

According to a former model friend of mine, pictures with smiling are used to show "personality" and should generally be included only once or twice in a portfolio. Glowering is the way to go. I think that's dumb. People are naturally more attractive when they smile, particularly those DuPrees with their flawless teeth.

Yeah, that's why it irritates me... because they DO have personalities. And these shots make them look like they just got a lobotomy. Laughing

Well, we've only seen a few of them. Maybe they smiled in some other ones? Except Stacy of course

Yeah I was thinking about that the other day, but then I started noticing other band photos...Most promo shots are "serious" it seems. So its not just them.

I guess it will be just a pleasant surprise when people dig further about the band to find out how chill they are... Smile

Sepia can get pretty overdone, but this isn't so bad.

I don't like too many smiling pictures, actually. I prefer them this way.

Anybody else?

edit
Right after I posted this I looked at the Boy Meets World picture in my signature, and was like "AWW!" So maybe if they smiled in an honest sort of way like that picture, I'd go for it. Anyhow, I still like the serious pics.

yeah, i also like the serious ones also. half the time i think i look ridiculous in pictures i smile in, cause it looks forced, so maybe they're trying to avoid that.

I think Stacy is the only one pulling off the no smile face...and the boys. Chauntelle and Sherri just look awkward.
