I'm using that word in a vague and subjective way. So thats kind of like asking... How is something "cool"?

Also, some indie rock bands are dressy like that

but that doesn't neccesarily mean all indie rockers are like that, hence my explanation that its "vague and subjective". So basically it's my opinion.

You can explain how things are cool though. Rolling Eyes

Not big enough for school stuff. I mean, it fits a notebook but it's sorta small if you have a lot of things.

indie - implies independent, not signed to a major label. Eisley is signed to a major label. I guess dressing indie rock today would be equivalent to dressing punk rock in the 80's (making a statement by looking out of the ordinary). Only thing is, if everyone is doing it, how independent is it really?

Dude, indie rock isn't a TYPE of music. It describes a band on an independent label which Eisley is not. You think wrong.

well thats what i meant by "i'm using the term in a vague and subjective way"meaning, i'm not really adhering to the original definition.

Yeah, "indie" is generally used much more as a descriptor than literally these days. Much like when "alternative" was among the most popular types of music.
