Anyone know the significance of the fact that when your mouse moves over certain parts of the (Sherri?) artwork, the hand appears as if there are hyperlinks and parts of the drawing move when doing so? It doesn't link to anything, but maybe in the future? Maybe there is no significance what so ever.

Should I just get me coat and go to work?

I thought it was just fun/neat, which it is! Sometimes there is no reason for (flash) art (ie hyperlinks). There is not always a deeper meaning. I'm sure some people have yet to scroll over it and they just sit at their computer and listen to Invasion and don't even know.

I figured it was a mix of both theories. It's a fun little easter egg for obsessive mouse-clickers like me (Homestar Runner trained me to click anything and everything available in Flash), but it could be made functional later on, if there's a redesign incorporating the splash page as the main site. The bits that move around and look pretty now could easily become links later.
