I guess my girlfriend doesn't want to drive to Dallas to see the Fray or Eisley (she actually thinks Eisley is scary which makes no sense to me). However, since I bought the tix I thought I'd see if anyone here wants them. I'd like to make some of the money back from the sale. The tix cost me about $130 and they are pretty good seats, but I just don't want to drive up there without my girlfriend. I'll just wait until they come to Austin or San Antonio. Much closer. Instead my girlfriend and I will wait until August and go see Rush in San Antonio. Can't wait! I'm buying the tix tomorrow at 10a when they go on sale. She hates that I buy everything. Is that crazy?

Anywho if you're interested just pm me a fair price or any questions you might have. The seats are in the 100 section of the Smirnoff Music Centre.

JD

wait a minute. On this tour, Eisley is playing at Nokia, not at Smirnoff. Are you sure that's what you're ticket says? Because not only is Nokia a smaller venue, it's all the way in Grand Prairie.

This reminds me of that school that banned an Eisley shirt because it looked too "scary".

Tell her to look at the Evil Eisley pictures on OGG. Then she'll be scared!

Yeah, they moved it to the Smirnoff... that was the final nail in the coffin for me. I'm not the biggest Smirnoff and I would gladly choose the Nokia over that place any day.

When did this happen? And which shirt?

There was a girl on the forum who said that when she went to a school function (high school orientation?) last summer, and someone (an administrator or somebody) said that her Sherri art shirt with the skeleton ballerina was too 'gothic'. And she wasn't allowed to wear it at school. I'm not sure if she ever posted a follow up on the situation.

The funny thing is Eisley isn't that dissimilar from real goth music.

So this is me playing the necromancer once again. I still have two tickets to see Eisley at Dallas in July with some other bands, I forget who. I still can't go, so if anyone wants these tickets please let me know. I'd like to get some money for them, but at the very least I'd rather them not go to waste.

Rush may be the most instrumentally talented band, pound for pound, ever. I think he may be not crazy.

I am passing on Rush this year just because I have seen them like 17, 18 or more times? I have lost count. Started seeing them live in 1982 (Signals Tour) when I was 15.
Told my dad I was going to a game because he thought they were satanic(man in star and circle logo). Thats why I laughed when the post stated the friend was scared of Eisley! By the way, the Rush logo represents man's resistance to government, not a thing to do with satin.
