Yowsers! What a great concert, I had a lot of fun. The gang, put on a really great show and sounded amazing. I really loved the acoustic format, if anyone is on the fence on whether they should see them on this tour they should definitely go. The opening act, Wesley Jensen, was even pretty good. That's a big compliment coming from me since I usually dread waiting through opening acts. Of course the great Christie DuPree might have influenced me some what. And maybe I'm just getting old, but it was REAL nice getting to sit in a chair and watch a show. Here's a few of the pics I took:

Oh, and in case anyone wanted to see a setlist. I'm sure someone on the forum was one of the people who jumped up on the stage to grab an official one, but this is what I can remember: Come Clean Many Funerals Memories Go Away Taking Control Telescope Eyes I Could Be There For You Just Like We Do Golly Sandra Invasion Marvelous Things Combinations Trolleywood I Wasn't Prepared If You're Wondering And some extra comments about the show: - Sherri was tired from staying up until 5am watching "The Scarlet Pimpernel" starring "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman". Which led to Stacy saying she had taken a nap. To which Sherri said that when Stacy got up she was grouchy because she was mean to Sherri. And Stacy's jaw sort of hit the ground. - Sherri forgot said she forgot what she was going to say and Weston piped up that it was "that Weston is awesome." - Chauntelle frequently asked if the audience could hear her because apparently they sometimes they shut off their mike which lead them to questioning whether Mark the sound guy was being rude to her. - They had trouble with "Trolleywood" again apparently as Sherri sang the wrong part at the end. (or was it the because of the sound tech  )
- They admitted they had jumped into the whole acoustic thing without really practicing and weren't very good previously because of it. But, Sherri assured us they have learned their lesson. - It was confirmed that Garron is very talented. - The band is very nervous about being on the Conan O'Brien show. And announced they will indeed be performing "Invasion." - Congrats was given to Boyd and Kim who celebrated 28 years of wedding bliss today.
That's all I can remember at 3am. |
