i really really want to go to the eisley show in houston, but i think my parents might have an issue with it, so i want to know if anyone else has ever been to the venue and if its an ok place to be. (no huge amts of drinking, drugs or fights and stuff.) or to an eisley show and if they get wild or anything.

Eisley shows get pretty crazy with hugh mosh pits and that sort of thing so be careful.

I'm kidding. I don't know that particular venue but I have been to plenty of Eisley shows and they're pretty much laidback. Although I did see them when they were touring with NFG and Reggie and it got a little teensy bit wild but not much and nothing to be scared of so all in all Eisley shows are the best chill concerts ever. Hope you go!

I was at an Eisley show there in 2004, and things were pretty tame as far as I could tell. In fact, I've only seen a couple of rowdy people or crazy times in the 23 Eisley shows I've been to. Certainly nothing that would cause another person any real trouble.

This venue is actually one of the better, cleaner and decent ones in Houston. You should be fine. There's a little bar but most people sit in the back or in the other room with their beverages.. assuming Eisley is playing in the Red Room which I think they are.

Either way not a bad place.

I should be there so say hello if you see me. I look like my avatar.

There are beds in the back with curtains around them... heh.

And there is smoking. But definitely one of the tamer venues I've been to. More safe than Numbers, definitely.

There's smoking in practically every venue.

And yeah crowds don't get wild or anything.

There WAS this one time where someone crowd surfed to Eisley... but I think it was the NFG tour. haha.

The drive to downtown is tricky if you've never been there. As for the venue, I think its fine. eat dinner first.

I was there last May also, and it is a clean venue. I wan't afraid of the bathroom at all! Wink I also took my mom and my 12 year old sister if that says anything about the place.

yeah the meridian is my second favorite houston venue. second only to warehouse live which is new and ridiculous clean.

Honestly, you have nothing to worry about when it comes to the meridian. ESPECIALLY for an Eisley show.
