I saw the one Boyd linked from the e-mail, but it was only for sizes Small and Medium - not my sizes.

I'm aware of one with a Lithograph - not too keen on that.

My main interest is bonus tracks - (iTunes excluded for me personally)

So I wonder if we can't have a thread - if there's not one already - where all the various preorders/deals there are are listed, because I plan to only buy it once - the CD/DVD combo version.

So far there is a free EP at any cimsmusic.com store. Not sure if it's Eisley or even new stuff yet. I will have details on there on Monday.

There is also 2 bonus tracks at dimple.com store.

So far, that's all we know I think.

--Edit--

Oh yeah, in a few hours I will know if there are any exclusives at Target, Circuit City, Best Buy, etc. I'm about 100% sure that Best Buy and Walmart do not have any specials. Best Buy might have the CD for $7.99, but I don't expect any bonus tracks there.

it's kinda annoying that only small indie stores are the ones that have the exclusives so far. Not very many have access to those.

thanks a lot!

surely Eisley will not do the horrible thing the Smashing Pumpkins did:

have diff bonus tracks for Best B, Cir C, TArget, etc.
i think Switchfoot did that, too.

It will be $14.99 at Best Buy. Think I'll be going to Waterloo for this one. I know they will be selling it for $11.99. I want the DVD/CD combo though. The former comes with a bonus CD. I hope the latter does as well.

Waterloo/Good will have a bonus CD?

if so, containing what tracks?

edit

i just saw on the Good Records page:

first 90 people get a bonus CD with two exclusive tracks

i'd gladly stop by if it was relatively close by.

hopefully boyd is cool with everyone sharing all the bonus/exclusive tracks cause i definitely don't think he'd expect someone to buy all of these various versions.

i'm thinking all indie stores will have the same exclusives

that's the banner dimple has, it says two, but then on their news it says it comes with a bonus EP that has one Eisley b-side.. i'm hoping it comes with the special edition, because that's what i want.. i don't want to have to buy it twice.. but i have the money at the moment.. and could.. i just don't WANT to buy more than one.. lol.

you're welcome... yes, switchfoot, paramore, and others did exclusives like that. Paramore was one of the worst with exclusives. they had about 7 different stores with exclusives and about 10 different songs.

i'm hoping eisley won't do that but I'd rather it be that than all this small stores having this stuff since the chains are more accessible. I'm waiting for the Sunday ads to be up so I can see if they do have any and see if anyone advertises it.

I hope so too. I know a few other official band forums that have allowed it and there is absolutepunk who have their b-sides thread for stuff like this. you can post any bonus tracks or b-sides as long as the artist hasn't requested otherwise.

It's not advertised in any (Best Buy, Circuit City, Kmart, Target) ads. The new Mae and 12 Stones albums are $7.99 at Best Buy though... if anyone would like to know Razz

So.. that means iTunes and then the indie store two bonus track or ep or whatever it is lol... I WILL KNOW what iTunes and Indie store exclusives are on Monday.

as much as i want Sunfeet, i do not want it released as any kind of Combinations bonus track. a b-side to a single is fine, but i don't want an old song being released on a new album like that.

yeah... sunfeet is awesome, but I think it'll be it's own Single or EP on iTunes in the near future. WB has kept the Sunfeet cover in their publicity site. They wouldn't do that for no reason.

i see no distinction between b-side and bonus track unless you can explain that to me - they seem interchangeable - both tracks recorded with, yet not included as part of the official album.

what is this Sunfeet cover you speak of?
(could you post the jpg here please)?

here ya go... 600x600 is the highest resolution i'll go... sorry. But this has been on WB Publicity site for about a year I think. Then, after Boyd said they were going to release the song, it was moved to the front page with Combinations.
